The Bastion Remnant.

A crumbled kingdom of gold, guarded by the Nether’s most brutal warriors: Piglin Brutes.

Most players see it and turn back.

But not Shadow Blade.

For me, it was the perfect challenge — a deadly heist waiting to happen.

Here’s the story of my daring raid inside the Bastion... and how I escaped with the treasure.

Step 1: Preparing for the Heist

A Bastion isn’t just another Nether structure.

It’s a deathtrap.

Piglin Brutes don’t care about gold armor — they attack on sight, and they hit hard.

Gear checklist before storming in:

Full Netherite armor (for max defense)

Strong sword (preferably Sharpness enchanted)

Bow with Power (for sniping enemies)

Ender Pearls (for quick escapes)

Plenty of food and Fire Resistance potions

Blocks for building barriers and climbing

Shadow Blade rule:

> "Go in heavy or don’t go in at all."

Step 2: First Glimpse of the Bastion

After wandering the warped forests and lava oceans, I spotted it:

A towering Bastion, broken but proud, looming over the lava seas.

Blackstone walls. Gold blocks glinting in the cracks.

And the sounds of angry Piglins echoing from deep inside.

This was it.

The heist was on.

I didn’t rush in head-on.

I moved like a shadow — sticking to walls, building safe bridges, sneaking up high.

Snipe any Piglin Brutes from a distance.

Every step was tense. Every mistake could mean a brutal death and losing all my gear.

No matter how sneaky you are, at some point, the Bastion knows you're there.

Soon, the Brutes came charging, axes swinging.

One mistake: underestimating how fast they move.

They hit like mini-bosses, taking huge chunks of my health with each swing.

My strategy:

Fight in narrow hallways to control their numbers.

Use blocks to create chokepoints.

Retreat when low — never get surrounded.

After a brutal few minutes of nonstop fighting, the Brutes were down.

The fortress was almost mine.

Deep inside the Bastion were massive treasure rooms stacked with gold blocks, ancient debris, Netherite scraps, and enchanted gear.

Chests guarded by magma cubes and hidden traps.

Inside those dusty chests, I found:

Gold ingots

Enchanted diamond gear

Arrows and obsidian

And one legendary item: a Pigstep music disc.

Loot of legends — all for those who dared take it.

Looting the Bastion is only half the job.

The real victory?

Escaping with your life.

I didn't stick around.

Quick-built a hidden tunnel, blocked off passages, threw Ender Pearls across gaps — anything to stay ahead of respawning mobs.

Heart pounding, inventory bursting with treasure, I made it back to my portal.

Alive. Victorious.

Mission complete.
